With temperatures, continuing to stay above the 90-degree mark your dog could be in danger. It does not seem the relief from the hot weather will come soon enough giving a much-needed break to our four legged family members.

Heat stroke and other health related issues not only affect pet parents they also affect our pets. To avoid serious health risks keep your dog indoors during the heat of the day with plenty of fresh cool water. Only let them out for exercise in early morning or after sunset and then only for short periods with cool water available.

There are plenty of portable dog water bottles available to pet parents for those owners that live in the city or for people that enjoy their morning run with their dog. Play it safe – no vigorous play or exercise perhaps some basic training to keep young minds occupied, have plenty of fresh cool water, and keep them indoors with air conditioning or a floor fan.
