Yesterday we decided not to wait for cyber Monday to start our online Holiday shopping for friends of ours whom are Boxer dog lovers. Therefore, we centered our search to online shopping websites for dogs. Our friends already have everything Boxer from t-shirts to coffee mugs, so trying to find something was a little difficult to say the least.
We also remembered they collect figurines and there were no Boxer dog figurines in their collection. Armed with our idea we began our search. We came across a wonderful online shopping website for dog figurines and they had one of a Boxer dog. It was perfect so we ordered one. The Perfect Gift For Dog Lovers For The New Year
The buzz around my wife’s office today was Holiday gift ideas. Every year they form a small committee charged with organizing a gift exchange with a $15 limit. With the prices in the market place, finding a unique gift idea that is appropriate for the office at that price is quite challenging to say the least.
When we asked ourselves what do people need for the New Year, our answer was a 2010 calendar. Everyone uses a calendar and with so many of her colleagues, dog owners, how about a 2010 dog calendar. We found a great selection of dog calendars under $15 we grabbed one before they were all sold out.
Buying a dog calendar says you care enough to remember that their dog lovers and nothing puts a smile on someone’s face faster than thinking of their dog. Since people use calendars all year it is a great way to be remembered everyday confidently knowing you put a smile on your friends.
With the holidays right around the corner we started to look at those last minute improvements still on the agenda to be completed. One of those was to replace our dog bowls. We purchased some inexpensive stainless dog bowls at the beginning of the year and well…you get what you pay for. The bowls no longer come clean and the rubber bottom rim is cracking and falling off.
We decided to buy a set of designer dog bowls as replacements. These new bowls look great and the design is far more substantial. They fit in perfectly with our décor in the kitchen and are weighty enough they do not slide across the floor when our dog is eating.
Now that we have the designer dog bowls crossed of the list I guess it’s time to move on to the next item on my “honey-do” list.
