Finally, The Perfect Dog Coat

French Bulldog In a Dog Coat

The snow is falling and the coldest weather thus far is right on the horizon. We took a look at last year’s dog coats and decided that it was time to invest in a new one. After an extensive search, we found the perfect dog coat for our dog.

We have a 16-pound French bulldog that can be hard to fit (girth 19″; neck 13″, length 15″), but this dog coat works great because of the adjustable Velcro belt and collar. She has the medium dog coat which is a little long for her length-wise, but I just scrunch up the excess material above the belt a bit. The dog coat is made of thick fleece and is of very nice quality. She looks so cute in her new dog coat – we have already gotten compliments!

I’m Styling In My New Dog Coat

Designer Dog CoatAccording to the weather person, winter will be in full swing this weekend. A friend who lives in Texas said they had snow on the grass already…can you believe it Texas! We have a small dog who loves to go for walks and come with us everywhere we go. We decided this year to get her a new dog coat that would keep her warm and set her apart from her doggie friends.

Our search did not disappoint; we found a faux mink dog coat that is perfect. The best thing was the dog coat was 50% off and looked great adding a touch of elegance. Now when she accompanies us on her daily walk she struts almost prancing as she passes her friends. The look on her face is priceless.

Is Your Dog Ready For Winter

1 December;  Author: Daily Wag

Dog SweaterWith the Thanksgiving holiday behind us the cold days of winter are right around the corner. The forecast this week is calling for highs in the 30s here in Michigan. Our dog is already shivering with the thought so we ordered her a new dog sweater.

Not just any sweater but an argyle dog sweater. We cannot wait to show her off on our next walk and to our families at Christmas. Besides looking stylish, the dog sweater will keep her warm while outdoors with her thin coat. Exercise is an important aspect to your dog’s health and wellbeing, having a quality dog sweater will keep your dog warm in the winter temperatures.

The Gentlemen’s Dog Coat

21 November;  Author: Daily Wag

Fleece Dog CoatMichigan it is starting to get a little colder as we approach the winter season. As the days and night become chillier, I have noticed my dog is becoming more reluctant to venture outside. Normally when we grab his dog leash, he is at the door wagging his whole body.

We decided to search for some dog apparel and purchased a fleece dog coat to see if it was the temperature changing his mood. Low and behold, that was it he was too cold. Now when it is time for his daily walk we grab his new dog coat and his body is once again wagging ready to walk the neighborhood.

We have a barrel chested dog so we needed a dog coat with Velcro® straps that fit around him and still looked stylish…after all he should look good too. We settled on a neat looking plaid fleece dog coat that looked like something from a designer and was a perfect match for our English Bulldog.

Dog Coat

Fall has officially arrived and if you live in the northern states then you know we have experienced our last warm days. As the temperature cools, dog owners spend less time walking and exercising their dogs and with good cause as shorthaired and even some longhaired dogs do not do well without the added protection of a dog coat.

Over the years, the dog apparel industry has grown by leaps and bounds offering dog coats in virtually any size, color, and texture. From dog sweaters to coats filled with feathered down, you can shop for large dogs coats and small dogs coats. As dog owners, we know that properly exercising our dogs prevents a host of dog health problems from obesity to cardio.

Don’t let the cooler temperatures of fall keep you from spending precious little time left at your local dog park. Continue walking your dog and give him or her the protection they need with a stylish dog coat.
